Hi All,

I'm trying to make a software "clone" of the 808, but I'm having problems with the cymbal circuits, specifically the high pass filters (for example Q26 in the open hihat circuit). I can follow the schematic, but my understanding of ir is sketchy, to say the least. I found an explanation of a similar filter here:
http://www.radio-electronics.com/info/circuits/transistor_activehighpassfilter/transistor_highpassfilter.php
but the 808 filter has one less resistor, and the cap values don't match, so no go.
If anyone could explain the filter to me I'd really appreciate it.

Thanks in advance,
Jonathan.
